The Kerala Public Service Commission publish notifications inviting applications for selection to various posts as per the requisitions of the appointing authorities, conduct written test and/or practical tests, physical efficiency test and interview, prepare ranked list based on the performance of the candidates and advise candidates for appointment strictly based on their merit and observing the rules of reservation as and when vacancies are reported. The Head Office of the Kerala Public Service Commission is situated at Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, the State Capital. 

Admission tickets will not be generated for candidates who fail to submit their confirmation on or before the stipulated date and their application for the post mentioned in this programme will be summarily rejected

Dictation and Transcription Test
A passage in English consisting of 600 (Six hundred) words will be dictated in 5 minutes (at a rate of 120 words per minute) and the candidates have to take down the passage in shorthand and then to write the passage in longhand using ink within one hour.
(Maximum Marks: 100) 
(Duration: 1 Hour 05 Minutes)
